We’re blessed to have such a fantastic team for this April 27, 2016 show: hearkening ethnic Vocals from far-away civilizations by Uyanga Bold; hauntingly beautiful electric cello by Eru Matsumoto, taiko drums that reach our subconscious by Isaku Kageyama, in a show produced by the relentless Ciprian Costin, co-produced and boldly imagined by his best friend since 2006, Vadim Pascan – From The Masterpiece Experience Facebook Page
The Masterpiece Experience Show features some of the best epic and movie trailer music ever written. The show uses a local orchestra of at least 30 performers, synchronized rock lights, modern instruments as electric cello and iPad, laptops loaded with custom sound samples.
The artist team has collaborated with: Hans Zimmer, Two Steps From Hell, Thomas Bergersen, Cirque du Soleil, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Carlos Santana, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Alicia Keys, Aerosmith, Marilyn Manson, the Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, Johnny Marr, and with corporations as Google and Microsoft.
Taiko and Film Music
When I was growing up, very few people knew what taiko drums were. In 2016, we’ve really come a long way. As a taiko player, it’s exciting to see that taiko has almost become common knowledge. Most musicians are familiar with the instrument, and I see taiko being used more and more in pop culture. Taiko and film music have a particularly close relationship, and it’s always great to hear more!
